Narrow aisle (VNA) shelving is an extended application of crossbeam shelving, named narrow aisle shelving because the forklift handling channel of its shelving system is relatively narrow. The main body of the shelving system is a crossbeam shelving, with the difference being the installation of limit guide rails for "three-way stacking forklifts" on the ground at the bottom of the shelving. The guide rail is made of national standard unequal angle steel. Material handling forklifts are limited to specialized "three-way stacking forklifts". The three-way stacking forklift slides along a predetermined guide rail, with a forklift channel width slightly larger than the width of the pallet cargo, enabling high-density storage requirements. At the same time, it integrates all the advantages of the crossbeam shelving system, and all materials stored in the shelving system have 100% selectivity. The forklift can access any pallet cargo at any time. Fast storage efficiency and very high storage density bring significant production efficiency and cost-effectiveness to storage and logistics centers suitable for using narrow aisle shelving systems. A narrow aisle shelving system can be selected for storage or logistics centers with the following characteristics: 1. The stored goods have a large volume, frequent entry and exit of goods, and high picking requirements for goods; 2. The storage and logistics center urgently needs to increase the number of storage spaces or require a certain amount of storage capacity; 3. Logistics efficiency requires a high level; 4. The available net height of the warehouse is relatively high, greater than 8M; 5. Independent storage forklifts can be used as forklifts, and it is not planned to use storage forklifts to drive outdoors for other tasks.
