Automated three-dimensional warehouse workflow in the e-commerce industry
The automated three-dimensional warehouse in the e-commerce industry is designed around "efficient processing of massive orders", with a four step closed-loop workflow:
1. Warehousing process: After the supplier delivers the goods to the warehouse, the barcode recognition of the pallet goods is carried out through the scanning area. The WMS (Warehouse Management System) automatically enters the goods information (category, quantity, batch) and assigns empty storage spaces; Subsequently, the conveyor system transports the pallets to the stacker crane operation port, and the WCS (Warehouse Control System) issues instructions. The stacker crane travels along the aisle to the target cargo location, and accurately places the goods through the telescopic and lifting of the forks. After completion, it provides real-time feedback of "storage completion", and the WMS synchronously updates the inventory data.
2. Storage link: WMS dynamically adjusts the storage location based on order forecasting and turnover frequency, allocating high-frequency hot selling products (such as snacks and daily necessities) to lower level storage locations for easy and quick picking; Low frequency products are stored at higher levels. At the same time, the system monitors the status of the storage location in real time. When the inventory of a certain type of product is below the threshold, it automatically triggers a replenishment reminder to ensure sufficient inventory.
3. Picking process: After receiving the order, WMS splits the order into "location picking tasks", and WCS instructs the stacker crane to retrieve the pallets from the corresponding locations and transport them to the disassembly and picking area through the conveyor system; The picking robot or manual selects the corresponding quantity of goods from the pallet according to the PDA (handheld terminal) prompt, puts them into the order turnover box, and after the picking is completed, the empty pallet is sent back to the three-dimensional warehouse for storage by the conveyor system.
4. Outbound process: The turnover box is transported to the review area through the conveying system, and the consistency between the goods and the order is checked by scanning the code. After confirming that there are no errors, it enters the packaging area; After packaging is completed and labeled, it is transported to the sorting area and classified according to the distribution area. Finally, it is transported by AGV or forklift to the outbound port to complete the order shipment. WMS synchronously deducts inventory and generates outbound records.
