However, due to the limited demand for forklift access, a 3-4 meter wide passage needs to be reserved, so the space utilization rate (about 40% -60%) is lower than that of fluent and shuttle truck shelves, making it more suitable for scenarios where "access efficiency" is prioritized. If space utilization needs to be improved, it can be achieved through optimization design: for example, using "double deep shelving", setting up two layers of shelving on both sides of the same channel to reduce the number of channels; Alternatively, use a high-level forklift to raise the shelf height to 8-12 meters and utilize vertical space. For small warehouses, "attic style crossbeam shelves" can also be used, with platforms built on top of the shelves to achieve "double-layer storage" and further tap into spatial potential.
