Application of Automatic Sorting System in Cross-Border E-Commerce Overseas Warehouses Overseas warehouses are the key for cross-border e-commerce to improve logistics efficiency, and the automatic sorting system is the core equipment for the efficient operation of overseas warehouses. In the overseas warehouse scenario, the system can realize three major functions: first, the rapid warehousing of goods after import customs clearance, assigning goods to corresponding storage areas according to orders from different platforms; second, the secondary sorting after order picking, classifying packages from the same country to different regions for local courier collection; third, return and exchange processing, automatically identifying returned goods and classifying them to the quality inspection area or re-storage. Taking European and American overseas warehouses as an example, after equipping with the automatic sorting system, the order outbound time is shortened from 24 hours to 4 hours, and the local delivery time is increased by 50%.
