The main drawbacks and coping strategies of fluent shelves Fluent shelves have three major drawbacks: limited load-bearing capacity, high requirements for goods, and difficulty in restocking increasing with length. Due to its limited load-bearing capacity, it is unable to store heavy goods, which limits its application scenarios; Strict requirements for the form of goods, irregular or easily deformed goods cannot be adapted, and additional shelves need to be used; When the shelf length exceeds 3m, high-end restocking requires frequent bending or the use of ladders, which increases the labor intensity of the staff. The coping strategies include: in terms of load-bearing capacity, a combination of "fluent frame+crossbeam frame" can be used, with crossbeam frames for heavy goods and fluent frames for light and medium-sized goods to achieve complementary advantages; In terms of cargo adaptation, for slightly irregular goods, customized widened fluent strips or added guide wheels can be used to reduce lagging; In terms of restocking, a restocking platform or small conveyor belt is installed at the high-end of the shelves, and staff can stand on the platform to restock without bending over. At the same time, the long shelves are divided into 2-3 short shelves to reduce the difficulty of restocking.
